How to Get Wool in Core Keeper
Find a Bambuck, feed it and collect wool. Learn how to keep a steady supply and check why your animal is not producing it.

Find a Bambuck, feed it a crop such as a Heart Berry, and collect the wool it produces. Bambucks are the sheep-like cattle found in Meadows. Keep the animal alive: its listed death drop is meat, while wool is a feeding product.
Collect your first wool
A repeatable wool supply
- Find a BambuckLook for the sheep-like cattle in a Meadow.
- Make food reachableUse a crop such as Heart Berry. Ground food or a Feeding Tray works.
- Allow time to produceLet the Bambuck eat. Keep the animal alive and protected.
- Collect and replenishPick up wool nearby, then refill food. Repeat with the same living animal.
Identify the animal before feeding it: other cattle can produce different resources.
Keep your supply going
A small enclosure helps you keep track of the animal and separates it from crops you want to harvest yourself. Protect it from enemies: cattle can be attacked. Keeping a Bambuck fed is more useful for a repeat supply than relying on a lucky chest.
If you cannot find a Bambuck in the first Meadow, continue exploring other Meadows. Wool also appears in specific loot containers, including Locked Scarlet, Octarine and Galaxite Chests. Treat that as an alternative source rather than a guaranteed reward from every chest.
No wool appearing?
Check the animal type, whether it can reach its food, and whether it has actually eaten. Look on the ground nearby before assuming production failed. The output takes time; feeding is not an instant wool-crafting action.
